The 5-hour rolling window
Anthropic's official plan docs state the session-based usage limit "will reset every five hours" — counted from your first message in that session, so it is a rolling window anchored to your own activity, not a fixed clock time. Sources: What is the Pro plan and What is the Max plan.
Weekly limits reset on a fixed account day
On top of the 5-hour window, Claude plans carry weekly limits that reset every 7 days on a day assigned to your account. The Opus weekly limit can reset on its own schedule, separately from other models. Anthropic's usage limit best practices doc shows the dual progress bars under Settings > Usage — that page requires your own login, and this site never asks for it.
Reading the official error message
When you hit the session cap, Claude's own error copy reads "5-hour limit reached - resets [time]" — the reset time is stated directly in the product. See Anthropic's error message troubleshooting. No third-party site can see that timestamp for your account.
